FOREVER HE LIVES

He walked the hill of Golgotha
To give His life so free
The pain, He must have suffered
To fulfill His destiny.
He knew, He would die upon the cross
To take all sin away
He could have asked for mercy
But his love saved us, that day.
He was full of such love and power
As He hung upon that tree
The thief, along His side, was forgiven
As Jesus heard his plea.
He hung there in His dying hour
His blood began to flow
The blood that cleansed and set us free
By grace and love, we know.
He was placed into a borrowed tomb
And was guarded night and day
But nothing could keep Him in that place
For He Lives, what a beautiful sight
Forever He Lives and someday we will see
What Glory He has in store
He gave to us, eternal life
OUR SAVIOR HE LIVES FOREVERMORE
